T5 fluorescent lamps with a tube diameter of just 16 mm enable space-saving luminaires to be made even more compact than with the old "standard lamps" with their tube diameter of 26 mm. LUMILUX T5 from OSRAM combine the benefits of compact T5 design with innovative LUMILUX technology.
 
Product characteristics for LUMILUX T5 HE and HO:

• Good colour rendering (Ra 80-89) thanks to three-band phosphors over the entire colour spectrum
• Wide variety of light colours from 2700 K to 6500 K
• Average life of 24,000 hours for HE and HO versions
• Maximum luminous flux at an ambient temperature of 35�
• Can only be operated with Electronic Control Gear

• Reduced lamp diameter enables the luminaires to be made much smaller
• Up to 10% higher luminaire efficiency because the temperature for optimum luminous flux has been raised to 35�C and because of the smaller tube diameter

LUMILUX T5 HE ("High Efficiency"):
 
The economical solution. At 104 lm/W, this is the "diesel" among T5 fluorescent lamps. It offers the highest luminous efficacy of all fluorescent lamps and enables energy savings of up to 40% to be made.

• Maximum efficiency within outer dimensions designed for T8/26 mm lamps
• Minimum luminaire dimensions, with the same output as T8 luminaires but up to 50% smaller

LUMILUX T5 HO ("High Output")
The bright solution. The "turbo" produces up to 50 percent more light than T8 lamps of the same length. Ideal particularly in direct/indirect lighting systems, for example in industrial lighting systems for factories with high ceilings.

• The same amount of light as with a T8 lamp but much smaller

LUMILUX T5 FC ("Fluorescent Circline")
The all-round solution. The alternative to standard strip lighting. Circular fluorescent lamp for round designer luminaires that will blend in perfectly with their surroundings. Based on LUMILUX T5 HO technology.

• 50% more light than comparable ring fluorescent lamps
